HMM places order 9 methanol-fuelled 9,000 teu newbuildings
HMM has placed an order with Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries for 7 x 9,000 teu container vessel newbuildings, and an order with HJ Shipbuilding and Construction (HJSC) for 2 x 9,000 teu vessels. Both orders specify dual-fuel engines capable of operating on methanol for the newbuildings.
