    Knud E Hansen unveils LCO2 carrier concept design

    Naval architecture consultancy Knud E Hansen has designed a liquefied CO2 carrier that it claims will be required for the transportation of CO2 from landbased storage facilities to offshore and onshore terminals prior to sequestration. The DP-2 design also features an innovative propulsion system incorporating a twin-skeg design with two contra-rotating propellers to improve efficiency.
