With a strong foundation as a marine engineer and experience as a seaman, Rasmus specialises in technical advisory and strategic promotion towards shipowners and industry players. His work focuses on supporting shipowners in evaluating and selecting optimal solutions for newbuilding projects, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and innovation in two-stroke engine technology.

Everllence has recently unveiled its new dual-fuel ME-LGIA (liquid gas injection ammonia) engine. Building on the company’s ME-LGIM and ME-LGIP technologies, which run on methanol and LPG respectively, the new engine introduces enhanced safety and digital features specifically designed for ammonia fuel.

The ME-LGIA engine operates on the diesel principle using Everllence’s liquid gas injection concept, but with added safeguards including containment systems, double-walled piping and dedicated ventilation to address ammonia’s unique properties.

In today’s rapidly evolving maritime sector, guiding stakeholders through the complex decision-making landscape of decarbonization pathways remains a core focus at Everllence.
