Engine and turbine management solution specialist Heinzmann retrofitted a common-rail (CR) retrofit conversion to a 40 year old vessel from the Swedish icebreaker fleet. The retrofit successfully increased the vessel''s engine efficiency, and lowered fuel consumption by up to 11%, according to Swedish Maritime Administration (SMA) service data.
