Wärtsilä shaft generator systems for Capital Gas LNGC newbuildings

Two new LNG carriers being built for Capital Gas Ship Management will feature Wärtsilä’s advanced shaft generator systems.

Wärtsilä has been awarded the contract to supply shaft power generator systems to provide power take-off from the main engines for two LNG Carrier vessels. The carriers are being built at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) shipyard in South Korea for Greece-based ship management service provider Capital Gas Ship Management Corp.
