Candidates announced for IMO Secretary-General
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has announced that seven candidates have been nominated for the post of Secretary-General of the organisation. The term of the current incumbent, Kitack Lim of the Republic of Korea, expires on 31 December 2023.
The election to select the successor to Kitack Lim from a shortlist of seven nominees will be held at IMO Headquarters on Tuesday 18 July.
