Shipping leaders commit to green H2-based fuels

Shipping sector leaders have committed to enable the use of marine fuels produced from renewable hydrogen to help the shipping industry meet industry decarbonisation goals. 

The statement included commitments by both MAN Energy Solutions and Winterthur Gas & Diesel (WinGD) to ensure that manufacturing volumes will be available both for newbuilding and retrofit, in-line with the IMO’s revised strategy “striving for” ambitions.
