Blue Visby trials show strong CO2 emissions savings

The first voyages of the Blue Visby Prototype Trials involving bulk carriers M/V Gerdt Oldendorff and M/V Begonia, have achieved CO2 savings of 28.2% and 12.9% respectively, meaning an average 17.3%.

These trials which took place in March and April 2024, saw the vessels under voyage charter to Blue Visby Consortium member CBH Group, performing ballast voyages to CBH Group’s Kwinana Grain Terminal, Australia.
