    DUAL-FUEL METHANOL FLEET SET TO GROW

    The global methanol fleet is set to grow with shipowners Hafnia and MOL planning to order dual-fuel vessels to support their investment in the Northwest Innovation Works'' methanol production facility the port of Kalama in Washington, USA.

  • The Mari Jone, powered by MAN B&W ME-LGI dual-fuel engine and running on methanol, was launched in 2016.

    Tanker saves fuel and emissions on Arctic voyage

    Tanker ship manager Marinvest has released details of the first Arctic voyage undertaken by its LR1 Ice Class 1A vessel ‘Marilee’ in August, making use of the Northern Sea Route Passage, in order to save time and fuel.
