The MTC 2000 Marine Test Case from Druck contains hand-held calibration tools for in-situ maintenance of pressure, temperature and electrical equipment. Applications include the monitoring and control systems on engine gear and thrust bearings, turbo chargers, fuel and lubricating oil systems, firefighting systems, heat exchangers and crew and cargo area heating systems. An IS version is also available for use in certified hazardous areas on-board oil and chemical tankers or gas and bulk carriers. The high visibility IP68 transit case is constructed from injection moulded ABS. Weighing 10kg the kit contains a Druck TRX II temperature/electrical calibrator, DPI 705 pressure indicator, PV 411 pneumatic hand pump and a dry block temperature calibrator. Accessories supplied as standard include a selection of BSP, NPT and metric gauge adapters, microbore pressure hose kit and a Xenon flashlight. The unit simulates or measures a range of parameters including ohms, mV, Vdc, mA, thermocouples, RTDs and frequency. The dry block calibrator sources temperatures from 300?C to 3,000?C. Pressures or vacuum from -1 to 20 bar gauge are simultaneously generated and measured using the PV 411 and DPI 705. A choice of 16 pressure scale units is provided. Also available is Intecal-W calibration management software which can automatically schedule routine inspections and maintenance procedures and print reports and calibration certificates.

LNG is currently the most popular lower carbon fuel, but with bio and e-LNG it could move beyond its current transition fuel status supported by extensive existing infrastructure.
