Norway-based gear and propeller specialist company Scana says that it is reorganising its propulsion business under the name of Scana Propulsion.
The intention, says the company, is that Scana Propulsion will become the mother company of all companies within Scana which are directly related to the propulsion business. This is being carried out in order to give a uniform product strategy and to better coordinate the sales and service force.
Scana Propulsion will be based at Volda, in the middle of the important Norwegian maritime cluster. Production will be maintained in the existing locations in Norway and Poland.
