LPG-Fuelled Gas Tankers For Croatia
Croatian operator Jadroplov has purchased two newly-built, short-sea LPG carriers powered by LPG-capable dual-fuel machinery. The 7,500m3-capacity gas tankers are two in a series of three ordered from Sasaki Zosen in Japan by Swiss interests.

Spanish Charter For Former Honfleur
Spanish operator Balearia has signed an initial six-month charter on an innovative ro-pax ferry, which has lain idle in Poland since completion last May. Originally ordered by Brittany Ferries for cross-Channel duty as the Honfleur, the 187m vessel now bears the name Rusadir for her impending assignment on western Mediterranean service between Malaga and the Spanish North African enclave of Melilla.

Samskip places 2+2 order with Cochin for H2-fuel cell feeders
European container operator Samskip has awarded Cochin Shipyard a contract for 2 x container feeder vessels, with an option for a further 2 vessels. The container feeders will be equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system, but are intended to be primarily powered by H2-fuelled fuel cells.
