Uwe has been working in DNV Advisory’s Ship Performance Center since 2015, focusing on concept design assessment, performance prediction, and verification.
He has a strong background in naval architecture, the basic design of various ship types, and performance prediction and verification using numerical methods, experimental techniques, and analytics. His expertise is supported by nearly 10 years of leading HSVA’s resistance and propulsion unit, as well as positions in various shipyards and design offices.
Most recently, Uwe has been involved in the long-term assessment of the performance of ALS (Air Lubrication Systems) and WAPS (Wind-Assisted Propulsion Systems).
