Austal Shipping, the West Australian shipbuilder, has delivered two more fast ferries to the Guadeloupe ferry operator L?Express des Iles. The first newbuilding named ?Silver Express?, will carry 360 passengers and 10 cars while the second unit named ?Gold Express?, will carry 446 passengers. Both vessels share the same 45.24 metre long hulls and have identical four MTU 396 diesel engines driving four Kamewa 63 SII water jets giving a speed of 38 knots fully loaded.
