Sasaki Wins Approval for Methanol Dual-fuel System

Japanese vessel builder Sasaki Shipbuilding has been awarded Approval in Principle for a methanol dual-fuel system in a 9,000DWT general cargo ship.

The integration of the Methanol DF system into this size of ship, says Bureau Veritas, “demonstrates its feasibility for smaller-scale ships, highlighting its adaptability and efficiency as a marine fuel”.
