The turbochargers will be installed in the main engines of two RoPax vessels newly built by Naikai Zosen Corporation and owned by Miyazaki Car Ferry Co.

The MET-MBII series is a new type of axial turbocharger which increases air flow volume while maintaining the reliability and ease of maintenance of the MET-MB turbocharger. Air flow volume is around 16% larger than the MET-MB series.

Delivery is scheduled for October 2020 for the first ship and February 2021 for the second.
