Wärtsilä optimised maintenance for shallow draft LNGC

Wärtsilä has signed an agreement to provide Chinese shipping company China LNG Shipping (International) Company Ltd. (CLSICO) with optimised maintenance to support the operational efficiency of the main engines and gas valve units on board Dapeng Princess, the world’s largest shallow draft LNG carrier.

The Dapeng Princess was built by Chinese shipbuilder Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding and has an overall length of 239.4 metres, and a cargo capacity of 79,960 cbm. The LNG carrier is powered by three Wärtsilä 34DF dual-fuel engines.
