Wolfram Guntermann 3

Hapag-Lloyd’s Director of Regulatory Affairs will be a member of the opening panel discussion at the 8-10 December event in Hamburg.

With the panel’s Day 1 focus on regulatory updates, Wolfram will be perfectly placed to speak directly about any matters emerging from the IMO MEPC meeting in November. He is also Chair of the Environment and Council Group at the World Shipping Council, which will further provide valuable insights.

A graduate with a Masters Licence from the Marine Polytechnic Elfleth in Germany, alongside a scholarship at the Plymouth Polytechnic of Marine Science, Wolfram also holds an Engineers Licence allowing him to serve as Ship Operation Officer with a dual licence.

Serving at sea since 1979 he was Master of his first command in 1996. Wolfram has also served ashore, notably at Trio Tonnage Centre London and Director Marine Operations at the Hapag-Lloyd America Office in New Jersey.

His current role as Director of Regulatory Affairs at Hapag-Lloyd’s Hamburg HQ has seen him take on the challenging opportunities emerging from new environmental initiatives and legislation.

An Early Bird Discount of 20% remains available for those looking to join the PFF conference.
