Suction sail retrofit slashes breakbulk emissions

The breakbulk vessel Onego Deusto, operated by Onego Shipping & Chartering, has made its first port call after being fitted with eSAIL suction sails.

The newly installed eSAIL sails are designed with active suction technology, enabling a significant reduction in fuel consumption – up to 15% in optimal conditions thanks to the smart use of wind energy.
