Meyer Turku has taken a pioneering step forward on its way towards more sustainable operations by switching to carbon neutral electricity and heating.

The yard has used only certified carbon neutral electricity since 2018, but recently all district heating used the shipyard has also been carbon neutral. This makes Meyer Turku a global pioneer among shipyards of its magnitude.
