Lloyd’s Register (LR) has released a report focusing on total cost of ownership (TCO) comparisons between passenger ships retrofitted with methanol dual-fuel engines and operating vessels on blended fuel (Blend B30), heavy fuel oil (HFO) and HFO with Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage technologies (oCCS).
