A Helsinki passenger ferry has been retrofitted with next-generation vessel propulsion technology, with the aim of securing reliable service and energy efficiency for the years ahead.

The M/S Suomenlinna II, a 2004-built passenger ferry connecting Helsinki’s Market Square to the UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna sea fortress, was given a module-based retrofit, upgrading only the outdated components and preserving key infrastructure like cabinets and cables.
